Igor Thiago converted the penalty, putting Brentford close to victory. Liverpool pushed for an equalizer, and in the 89th minute, Mohamed Salah scored after a mistake from Brentford, but it wasn’t enough to avoid defeat. Brentford is now in 10th place under their new coach Keith Andrews, while Liverpool has dropped to 6th place.
