Chelsea fans hoping for last-minute signings on deadline day will be let down. The club is still active, but several players are expected to leave before the transfer window closes.
The only new arrival likely to happen is Yisa Alao, a young left-back from Sheffield Wednesday, with a reported fee of around £1 million. Most activity now seems focused on departures.
Axel Disasi is currently at West Ham for a medical but has not yet made a final decision about the transfer. Additionally, U21 players Harry McGlinchey and Jimi Tauriainen are both set to leave before the window closes.
Aaron Anselmino and David Fofana are both going out on loan to Strasbourg, while Mamadou Sarr is returning to Chelsea. Crystal Palace has also made a loan offer for another Chelsea player.
Josh Acheampong remains with Chelsea as Crystal Palace loan bid is rejected
