Manchester United aims to extend two key streaks against Everton.

Michael Carrick has had a solid start as the Manchester United manager, achieving four wins and a draw in his first five matches.

He also seeks to continue another trend. United hasn’t lost in the Premier League for nine games, with their last defeat occurring against Aston Villa in December.

Manchester United last went 10 games unbeaten in the Premier League during Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s tenure, when Carrick was part of the coaching staff.

This is a milestone that neither Ralf Rangnick nor Erik ten Hag achieved while they were in charge. Although Ruben Amorim contributed to the current run, he only managed three of those matches before stepping down.

Darren Fletcher oversaw one game during this streak, while Carrick has managed the rest. He aims to secure another win when United faces Everton on Monday night.

The last time United had such a run was in 2021 under Solskjaer, when they remained unbeaten over 14 matches.

Manchester United’s upcoming match at Everton

Manchester United travels to Hill Dickinson Stadium to face Everton, hoping to secure all three points.

A draw would extend their unbeaten run, but it may feel like a missed chance. Carrick’s team is looking for more than just a point.

Currently fourth in the table, United is in the race for a Champions League spot, but standings could shift by Monday night.
