Manchester United is actively searching for a replacement for Marcus Rashford as they prepare for the next season. Rashford is reportedly in talks for a move to Spain, where he has impressed with ten goals and ten assists during his time at the club.
Given the limited options for wingers in Michael Carrick’s squad, several players are being evaluated for the summer transfer window.
One player under consideration is Yan Diomande, creating a transfer dilemma for Manchester United as they approach the summer market. In addition to Diomande, other potential candidates have emerged.
According to reports from Sport, Jesús Rodríguez, Martial Godo, Bradley Barcola, Iliman Ndiaye, and Yan Diomande are all on United’s shortlist as possible replacements for Rashford.
Rodríguez has played 24 matches for Como this season, contributing one goal and seven assists. Godo has also been effective, scoring seven times and providing one assist in 20 appearances. Meanwhile, Barcola has netted ten goals with one assist across 22 matches.
In terms of the remaining candidates, Diomande has recorded ten goals and five assists in 24 matches, while Ndiaye has achieved five goals and three assists in 23 Premier League games.
It remains to be seen whether Manchester United will pursue Rodríguez, Godo, Barcola, Ndiaye, or Diomande. In the meantime, it might be worthwhile to keep an eye on these players as possible fits for the club.
