Manchester United is working towards achieving success as the season comes to a close.

The team is on an unbeaten streak of five games, following a draw with West Ham United on Tuesday. Michael Carrick’s squad aims to secure qualification for the UEFA Champions League.

Additionally, with tough matches against Manchester City and Arsenal already behind them, their final stretch in the Premier League appears more manageable compared to their competitors.

However, anything can happen in football, and United must stay sharp to achieve their goals.

Beyond Carrick, Marc Skinner is also striving for success with the women’s team, which is currently second in the Women’s Super League and has reached the League Cup final.

Skinner has indicated that midfielder Ella Toone is likely to miss the League Cup final against Chelsea.

In a statement to Manchester United’s club media, Skinner shared, “Toone is on track, so hopefully around the end of March, she will be back with the group, and things will speed up once she is on the field.”

He added, “As long as there are no more setbacks, the healing process has been good, and we should hopefully have her back by the end of March.”

When asked about Toone’s availability for the League Cup final, Skinner said, “It probably comes a bit too soon, but I’m aiming for the City game to see where we stand. Hopefully, we can welcome her back then.”

With this update, it seems Manchester United will be without an important midfielder for the match against Chelsea. Nevertheless, with solid depth in the squad, they may manage to adjust effectively without Toone.
