Manchester United is back on track as Michael Carrick successfully revives their performance at Old Trafford.

In their recent match, The Red Devils secured a 1-0 victory against Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, extending their unbeaten run under Carrick.

United is currently in fourth place in the Premier League, just three points behind Aston Villa as they aim for a Champions League spot.

Unfortunately for Carrick’s team, the Premier League is their only remaining opportunity to win a trophy, after being eliminated from the Carabao Cup and FA Cup in early rounds.

Conversely, the Under-18s team is performing well in the FA Youth Cup under Darren Fletcher.

The Red Devils have already defeated Peterborough United and Derby County, with a recent 4-1 win over Oxford United helping them advance in the tournament.

This victory featured goals from Albert Mills, JJ Gabriel, Chido Obi, and Noah Ajayi, sending Fletcher’s team to the quarter-finals.

United will now face Sunderland, who advanced after defeating Brighton and Hove Albion 4-1.

The Black Cats youth team benefited from two goals by Tom Proctor and additional strikes from Marcus Neill and Finn Geragusian. Brighton’s Adam Brett managed a single goal but could not change the outcome of the match.

In other upcoming matches, Blackburn Rovers will play Burnley, Manchester City will face Everton, and Crystal Palace will go against Aston Villa.

For now, Manchester United must beat Sunderland if they hope to win their 12th FA Youth Cup and extend their record for the most tournament victories.
