Brandon Figueroa traveled to Liverpool and won the WBA featherweight title by knocking out Nick Ball in the final round of their match, broadcast live on DAZN.

The fight was closely contested, but Figueroa (27-2-1, 20 KOs) showed a strong offensive effort, leading to the late stoppage. Before the fight ended, commentators noted that Figueroa was slightly ahead on two of the three judges’ scorecards. Looking ahead, Figueroa is eager to fight in his hometown of Weslaco, TX, before pursuing a unification match with one of the other champions.
