Manchester United is set for a significant overhaul next season as several players are expected to leave. Napoli is planning to sign Rasmus Hojlund after his successful loan term, while Marcus Rashford is nearing a move to Barcelona.

Additionally, Andre Onana is a key player on the sale list, alongside Joshua Zirkzee and Manuel Ugarte. Casemiro, Tyrell Malacia, and Jadon Sancho will also depart without any transfer fees.

Paul Scholes has identified more players who he believes should be sold. On The Good, The Bad and The Football podcast, he shared his suggestions for keeping or selling players.

Surprisingly, he included defenders Patrick Dorgu, Noussair Mazraoui, Luke Shaw, and Leny Yoro on his sell list. Scholes and Nicky Butt agreed on Mazraoui due to his declining form, especially after transitioning to a right-sided centre-back role, which may not be necessary as the team returns to a back four.

Regarding Dorgu, they expressed uncertainty about his position in the squad; despite some strong performances, his fit was questionable, leading to the decision to sell.

Although both agreed to let Yoro go, Butt suggested a loan move would be better, given Yoro’s youth. Scholes acknowledged his talent but would agree to sell if required.

In an interesting discussion, Scholes noted that only one of Harry Maguire or Matthijs de Ligt should remain, favoring de Ligt when fit. He also placed Mason Mount on the sell list, as he sees no role for Mount behind Bruno Fernandes.

The last two names, Manuel Ugarte and Joshua Zirkzee, are also expected to leave after struggling to find their place in the squad since joining.
