Premier League Arsenal vs Manchester United
Arsenal and Manchester United, both the teams have struggled recently from lack of finishing in the final third. This was evident on Sunday as both the goals were scored by midfielders.
Arsenal who were the ones going to catch Liverpool sit second on the table with a 15 point gap between them and Manchester United have moved back to 14th place with a draw.
Manchester United have been having attacking woes throughout the season as Garnacho, Hojlund and Zirkzee have failed to impress. While Arsenal have found themselves in this situation since the turn of the year.
Attackers like Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka are injured. These injuries have seriously dented any hopes for a title surge and Arsenal have famously bottled another great chance to lift the Premier League trophy.
Arsenal vs Manchester United: Match Summary
This match was very unusual as for the first time under Ruben Amorim looked to sit back and defend. This season has been full of bad results but Amorim stuck to his principles but this match saw him go ultra-defensive at the back unlike his intense pressing tactics.
Arsenal looked comfortable on the ball and were able to move forward sideways with ease but were missing a focal point to find. Manchester United were comfortable in defending as they managed to keep Nwaneri, Trossard and Mikel Merino quiet.
Bruno Fernandes scored in the extra time of the 1st half from a beautiful free kick which was later equalised by Declan Rice in the 74th minute.

In the final stages of the match, Bruno Fernandes again had the chance to bury the game from the penalty area but failed to so meaning the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Arsenal’s Rough Patch
This means that Arsenal have failed to win any of their last 3 matches in the Premier League and are going through a rough patch of games.
This also highlights that their win against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions league could have been an anomaly as they routed their opponents 7-1 in that game.
