Everton leads pursuit of Jack Grealish following injury setback
Grealish showed great improvement at Everton, but a recent foot injury cut his loan spell short and ended his season. O’Rourke noted that, while there is interest from European clubs and local rivals, Grealish prefers to remain at Everton. He enjoyed working with the current coaching staff.
On the podcast, he stated: “I’m sure there are other Premier League clubs who will be monitoring his situation at City as well.
“He’s returned to his best form during this loan at Everton, so other clubs will be keeping an eye on his long-term situation.
“It’s not just Premier League teams; European clubs are interested because of his performance at Everton.
“You have to say that Everton is in a strong position to sign Grealish if he does leave Man City.”
“The good news for Everton is that Grealish is keen on a return to the club.
“He has really enjoyed his time here, which was unfortunately cut short by this injury, a setback for both him and Everton.
“He performed well for Everton, with six assists and two goals in 20 Premier League appearances, and he appreciates working under David Moyes.”
