Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah recorded 300 goal contributions for his team after making one goal and an assist in the 2024-2025 Premier League match against Ipswich Town, Saturday (17/8).
Quoted from the Liverpool page in Jakarta, Sunday, the total goal contributions came from Salah’s 212 goals and 88 assists for the club nicknamed “The Reds” in all competitions since he joined in 2017.
“Salah’s goal contribution ratio is 0.86 per match,” wrote Liverpool.
Responding to this, Salah, who appeared for Liverpool in 350 matches in all competitions, admitted that he was happy because he was able to make many goals and assists.
However, the 32-year-old footballer considered that there was something more important than his goals and assists, namely the team’s victory.
“The most important thing is that we can win the match,” said Salah.
The Egyptian national team player also hopes that he can continue to maintain consistent performance in every competition that Liverpool participates in.
He wants to help his teammates to defeat their opponents in every match and achieve the target of winning the Premier League.
In the match against Ipswich Town, Liverpool won with a score of 2-0 thanks to goals from Diogo Jota (Salah’s assist) and Mohamed Salah.
Next, on August 25 evening IST, Liverpool will face visiting team Brentford at Anfield Stadium.
