In a notable turn of events, Avram Glazer, co-owner of Manchester United, has submitted a bid for a partial ownership stake in the Royal Challengers Bengaluru franchise. This move follows RCB’s search for new ownership after their first title win in the Indian Premier League’s 2025 season.
Reports suggest that Glazer is among nine bidders, with Manchester United reportedly bidding USD 1.8 billion for a share from current owners Diageo India Pvt. Ltd. He is now one of four candidates shortlisted for this stake.
