The New England Revolution has secured forward Marcos Zambrano on loan from Real Salt Lake, according to a report by The Athletic on Wednesday.
The agreement includes an option to purchase Zambrano, who is part of the U.S. team led by Revolution head coach Marko Mitrovic at the upcoming 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Zambrano, originally from Ecuador, joined the Philadelphia Union academy in 2021 and scored in the first MLS Next All-Star Game in August 2022.
At 21 years old, he signed with Real Salt Lake in 2025 and played with their MLS Next Pro affiliate, Real Monarchs, last season, where he scored five goals in eight games. He has yet to make his MLS debut.
