Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Rob Edwards praised Arne Slot, calling him ‘amazing’ after facing the Liverpool boss twice in a week.
Wolves achieved an unexpected 2-1 victory over Liverpool in the Premier League, despite being at the bottom of the standings and facing relegation.
The teams will meet again on Friday in the FA Cup fifth round, and Edwards has commended both Slot and the Liverpool team ahead of the match.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Edwards remarked: “We know how good Liverpool are. I always try to respect the opposition, especially this one.
“They have an outstanding manager who has won titles, and the players are all experienced in winning big competitions.
“However, we need to approach the game with belief, and I want the fans to do the same.”
Despite their difficulties this season, another loss for Liverpool against Wolves on March 6 wouldn’t be surprising. Before this week, Liverpool had lost just once in their last 16 matches against Wolves in all competitions.
Sutton noted: “Given the pressure on him, I don’t think Slot can afford to field a weakened team here; he needs to be strong to avoid another upset.”
“I still expect another surprise, though. Wolves will give everything against Liverpool. They may be going down, but can they reach Wembley too?”
