Sharon and Kelly Osbourne paid tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne as he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BRIT Awards.
A video message from Dolly Parton introduced the mother-daughter duo, who celebrated Ozzy’s legacy on stage in Manchester on Saturday (28.02.26). He passed away in July 2025 at the age of 76.
Sharon, 73, accepted the award for Ozzy and expressed her honor in doing so, saying, “I wish he was here to accept it himself.”
She reflected on Ozzy’s journey from a working-class background in Birmingham to becoming a major figure in rock. She acknowledged both his successes and his challenges.
Sharon noted, “He never stopped pushing himself to do better — both personally and professionally.”
She highlighted his pride in being a working-class Brummie, regardless of his success.
Sharon dedicated the award not just to Ozzy, but also to his bandmates and the fans who attended his memorial in Birmingham.
She added, “He may not be here, but he left us an amazing body of work that will never be forgotten by the country that made him.”
Kelly then shared a brief message: “Thank you for loving my father as much as we do.”
She lightened the mood with a nod to Ozzy’s favorite football club, saying, “I hope I don’t disrespect Manchester by saying this… but up the Villa.”
The tribute concluded with a powerful performance of No More Tears, featuring Robbie Williams and longtime Ozzy collaborators Adam Wakeman, Robert Trujillo, Tommy Clufetos, and Zakk Wylde, celebrating Ozzy’s lasting influence.
