The Super Cup for the 2025 season will take place in Goa. Mohun Bagan and FC Goa will lead their groups as the top-seeded teams in the tournament. Sixteen teams, showcasing the best performances from the Indian Super League (ISL) and the I-League, will compete starting next month in Goa.
Out of the participating teams, 12 are from the ISL and four are from the I-League: Inter Kashi, Real Kashmir FC, Gokulam Kerala, and Rajasthan United. Odisha FC is the only ISL club not competing this time, with Rajasthan United taking its place.
The groups will be decided through a draw on September 25, while Mohun Bagan is set to begin its group stage matches on October 25. FC Goa will lead another group. The group stage matches will run until November 6, with the winners of each group advancing to the semifinals. The winners of this year’s Super Cup will have the opportunity to compete in the playoff for the AFC Champions League, adding to the tournament’s appeal.
