Malappuram: The MFC team is preparing for its first away match of the Super League season. They will face Kochi FC, with the match set for November 4 at 7:30 PM at Maharajas College Stadium in Kochi. In their first season clash at Kaloor Stadium, Malappuram won 2-0, while a subsequent match in Payyanad was postponed due to rain, resulting in both teams earning one point each.
MFC has not lost a match this season; however, after winning their first game against Thrissur Magic, the next three matches ended in draws. Currently, they sit in third place with six points. In contrast, Kochi FC has lost all four of their matches, leaving them at the bottom of the points table. Despite showing good performance, they have yet to earn any points in the league. Kochi aims to secure their first victory by defeating Malappuram.
Coach Miguel Coral may make some key changes to the traveling squad against Kochi. The return of captain Fazlur Rahman from injury is a positive aspect for the team. Malappuram looks to break their series of draws and get back to winning ways during their trip to Kochi.
