Dubai, UAE, 21/09/2025 — The kickoff event for the Super League Kerala Season 2, titled “Kick Off to Glory,” took place on Sunday at the Al Ahli Sports Hall in Al Nahda, Dubai. Hosted by RJ Mithun Ramesh and Shanu Suresh, it celebrated Kerala’s passion for football with a grand atmosphere that resonated with the global audience.
Notable speakers included club owners like Prithviraj Sukumaran and Kunjacko Boban. Franchise owners and various stakeholders of Super League Kerala also attended, creating an exciting atmosphere at the sports hall among the expatriate Malayalis.
The official match ball for Season 2, named “Saho,” was unveiled at the event. This FIFA-approved ball is designed to bring international standards to the league. The prominent Super League Kerala trophy was also showcased during the ceremony.
“The aim of Super League Kerala is to offer a professional platform for young football talents, support them effectively, and celebrate Kerala’s love for football. It’s not just a sport; it’s something that unites everyone,” said S.L.K. Managing Director Firoz Miran during his speech.
Special guests included N.A. Harris, Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, Venu Rajamani (former Indian Consul General), Harris Beeran, and Charu Sharma.
Sports.com was announced as the official digital partner for Super League Kerala. Through this collaboration, Season 2 matches will be streamed for free worldwide via the Sports.com app, allowing fans around the globe to watch the games without cost.
