On Tuesday night, Switzerland secured a spot in next year’s World Cup by drawing 1-1 against Kosovo. Despite the tie in the match held in Pristina, Switzerland finished first in Group B with 14 points, remaining undefeated. This result was enough for them to qualify for the World Cup.

Kosovo, which finished second with 11 points, will now look to qualify for the World Cup through the European playoffs in March. Switzerland took the lead early in the second half with a goal from Rubén Vargas following a great pass from Gibril Sow. However, Kosovo fought back and equalized in the 74th minute with a stunning shot from Florent Muslija. As the match neared its end, Kosovo made a strong effort for a winning goal, but the Swiss defense held firm.
