Tottenham’s January Transfer Window Disappointment

Now that the January transfer window has closed, it’s clear that Tottenham’s performance was underwhelming, leaving many feeling unsatisfied as the team heads into the second half of the season.

The club faces a significant injury list, coupled with rising pressure on manager Thomas Frank, as Spurs struggle during the 2025/26 season, particularly in domestic matches. However, they did manage a morale-boosting 2-2 draw against Manchester City.

Tottenham brought in just two senior players while letting go of several first-team and reserve players. This suggests that the club was reacting to situations rather than following a clear plan. While they have managed to address some issues, other problems have arisen in different positions on the field.
