The Los Angeles Clippers have traded Chris Paul to the Toronto Raptors as part of a three-team deal.
This trade allows the Clippers to save $7 million and helps the Raptors avoid the luxury tax by sending Ochai Agbaji to the Brooklyn Nets.
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Raptors may not require Paul to play for them and could potentially trade him again.
Paul has not played since December 1 and the Clippers sent him home soon after. He has been away from the team and has been quiet about his future as he approaches what might be his final NBA season.
