Damian Lillard made a remarkable return to the court.
Less than a year after tearing his Achilles, Lillard, who will miss the entire 2025-26 season, won the NBA’s 3-point Contest, scoring 29 points in the final round to defeat Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns by two points.
He scored 27 in the first round, advancing to the finals where he also faced Charlotte Hornets rookie Kon Knueppel. This victory made Lillard one of only three players to win the 3-point challenge three times, joining Craig Hodges and Larry Bird.
