The Milwaukee Bucks are achieving good results without their star player.

On Wednesday, the Bucks defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 118-116 at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, marking their second consecutive win and eighth in their last 10 games.

This means Milwaukee is among the top-performing teams in the league, even with Giannis Antetokounmpo absent since January 23 due to injury.

The team’s success without “The Greek Freak” has boosted their confidence.

“It makes you feel like you can win,” said Milwaukee head coach Doc Rivers after the game against the Cavaliers, according to ESPN Milwaukee. “When you’re losing a lot, you start to worry about the outcome.”

Rivers noted that the Bucks believed they could defeat Cleveland, even without Antetokounmpo.

“It’s human nature, and it’s the same as tonight,” Rivers added. “We felt we were going to win this game, and it’s great to be 8 out of 10. This team is doing well without Giannis.”

The Cavaliers also faced challenges, missing key players like James Harden, Donovan Mitchell, and Evan Mobley. Still, Milwaukee is glad to secure any victory.

Due to their recent success, the Bucks have risen to the 10th position in the Eastern Conference standings. They can improve their 26-31 record at home against the New York Knicks on Friday.
