A confrontation between the Detroit Pistons and Charlotte Hornets turned physical on Monday night, leading to four players being ejected.

Hornets forward Miles Bridges, center Moussa Diabate, Pistons center Jalen Duren, and forward Isaiah Stewart were all thrown out of the game.

The incident took place with 7:09 left in the third quarter at Spectrum Center while the Pistons were ahead 70-62.

Duren was driving to the basket when Diabate fouled him. The two players got into a head-to-head situation, which led to Duren striking Diabate in the face.

Diabate reacted by trying to reach Duren multiple times, even as Pistons forward Tobias Harris attempted to hold him back.

During the altercation, Diabate threw punches at Duren, and the confrontation lasted for over 30 seconds, according to ESPN’s broadcast.
