Damian Lillard has yet to play any NBA games this season as he recovers from a torn Achilles suffered in last season’s playoffs. However, he made headlines by achieving a remarkable feat.
Lillard participated in the NBA Three-Point Contest wearing the Portland Trail Blazers jersey for the first time since 2023, becoming the third player to win three such contests. At 35 years old, he triumphed over Phoenix’s Devin Booker, finishing with a score of 29-27 in the final round.
“I came in confident, I came in fresh,” Lillard said after his victory. “I think just having this year away, my body and mind [are] just fresh. So I came out there excited to do it.”
