In his second game after a 25-game suspension for breaching the NBA’s anti-drug policy, Paul George stepped up for the Philadelphia 76ers, helping them secure a victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday night.

George scored 28 points in his first game back against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday. He followed that with 26 points against the Hornets, hitting a key three-pointer in the final minutes.

George’s late three-pointer gave the 76ers the lead

With the Hornets leading 114-113 and just over a minute left, George made a corner three-pointer, which turned out to be the game-winner. The 76ers finished with a score of 118-114.

Along with his scoring, George shot 9-of-19 from the field, making four three-pointers. He also recorded a double-double with 13 rebounds and two assists.
