The New York Knicks came to Detroit riding high but left Little Caesars Arena after a disappointing loss to the Pistons. Detroit triumphed with a score of 118-80, further establishing their position as the top team in the Eastern Conference.

This victory not only widened their lead as the current No. 1 seed but also showcased one of their strongest performances of the season. Defensively, this was the Pistons’ second-best showing, allowing the fewest points since the Brooklyn Nets scored just 77 against them on February 1.

Jalen Brunson had a tough game

The Pistons effectively contained Jalen Brunson, limiting him to 12 points over 31 minutes. He struggled, making only four out of 20 shots, resulting in a shooting percentage of 20%.
