The Milwaukee Bucks’ situation with Giannis Antetokounmpo may continue into summer, but the Golden State Warriors have resolved one of their own concerns at the trade deadline.
The Warriors, who showed interest in Giannis, have traded Jonathan Kuminga to Atlanta in exchange for Kristaps Porzingis. Kuminga was selected seventh overall by the Warriors in 2021 but has often found himself sidelined by head coach Steve Kerr over the last few seasons.
In his four-plus seasons with the Warriors, Kuminga recorded an average of 12.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game with shooting percentages of 50.3% from the field and 33.1% from three-point range.
