Recently, a video showing Luka Doncic and JJ Redick in a heated moment went viral, sparking rumors of a conflict between them. However, this speculation appears to be unfounded.
On ESPN’s “NBA Today” Tuesday, reporter Dave McMenamin clarified that there is no rift between Doncic and Redick. He attributed any perceived tension to the team’s recent three-game losing streak.
“A league source remarked that in LA, even small incidents can become major stories,” McMenamin said. “A source close to Luka mentioned that he and JJ share a strong relationship that has lasted nearly ten years. They are both very competitive and encourage each other.”
“Another team source added: ‘Show me a star in the NBA who isn’t frustrated during a losing streak. This is all much ado about nothing.’”
