The San Antonio Spurs are parting ways with forward Jeremy Sochan.

The Spurs have decided to release Sochan after not being able to secure a trade for him before the deadline, as reported by Shams Charania from ESPN. It is expected that multiple teams will show interest in him.

Sochan was once seen as an important part of the Spurs’ future after being picked ninth overall in 2022. He made the NBA All-Rookie Second Team in 2023, averaging 11.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game in his second season.

However, last season he primarily played off the bench, and injuries have limited him to just 28 games this season.
