Happy 67th birthday to former NBA All-Star, two-time NBA champion, and long-time league executive, Danny Ainge!

Ainge won NBA titles in 1983 as a role player and in 1985 as a key member of the Celtics, playing alongside legends Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, and Robert Parish. In his last full season with Boston, he led the league with 148 three-pointers in 1987-88 before being traded to the Sacramento Kings just before the 1989 trade deadline.

Ainge also played for the Kings, Suns, and Trail Blazers before retiring after the 1994-95 season. Following a brief head coaching role with the Suns, he moved to the Boston Celtics as the executive director of Basketball Operations from 2003 to 2021, winning another title in 2007-08. Currently, he serves as the CEO of Basketball Operations for the Utah Jazz.
