On most nights, Nikola Jokic’s 23 points, 21 rebounds, and 19 assists would be the highlight for the Denver Nuggets. However, on Wednesday, Jamal Murray took the spotlight with a season-high 53 points on 19-of-28 shooting and 9-of-14 from three-point range as Denver defeated Dallas 142-135.
This game was historic as it was the first time in NBA history that one player scored over 50 points, while another recorded 15 or more points, rebounds, and assists in the same game. After the crucial win, Jokic shared his thoughts on Murray’s performance.
“For me, especially when Jamal is having that kind of game, I just try to get him open. I know he’s going to take and make shots. They started blitzing him, and it was my job to get everyone else involved or score,” he mentioned about his long-time teammate.
This leads us to today’s quiz. Murray is among 42 players in NBA history who have made at least nine three-pointers in multiple games. How many of these players can you name in six minutes?
Good luck!
