Giannis Antetokounmpo has been a key focus in trade discussions this season, but another significant player may also be available.
After a challenging start with a 6-21 record, the Los Angeles Clippers have improved to 23-26, placing them ninth in the Western Conference. However, just days before the 2025-26 NBA trade deadline, Clippers guard James Harden has thrown a surprise into the mix by requesting a trade on Monday.
This request reportedly followed the Clippers’ decision not to extend Harden a two-year, $80 million contract, as per NBA Insider Tomer Azarly. The 36-year-old is averaging 25.4 points (the highest since the 2019-20 season), along with 8.1 assists and 4.8 rebounds per game this season.
