The Celtics have made a trade, bringing in veteran center Nikola Vucevic from the Chicago Bulls in exchange for Anfernee Simons. Vucevic, in his 15th season, is averaging 16.9 points and 9 rebounds per game, which is the highest on the Boston roster, especially as they have started Neemias Queta at center 46 times this season.
This trade is a positive step for Vucevic, as he is set to reach the postseason for only the fifth time in his career and the first time with a strong contender.
