The Golden State Warriors are facing challenges, with Stephen Curry set to miss more time due to injury.
Curry has not played since January 30 because of a right knee problem. The team recently reevaluated his condition and found he will be out for at least another 10 days, during which the Warriors will play five games. He will continue to focus on his rehabilitation before a follow-up exam.
Stephen Curry’s Injury a Setback for the Warriors
This news comes at a tough time for Golden State (32-33), as they are on a three-game losing streak, including a disappointing 130-124 loss to the struggling Chicago Bulls (27-38) on Tuesday. This losing run has reduced the Warriors’ playoff hopes.
As of Wednesday, the Warriors have slipped to ninth in the Western Conference, trailing behind the Los Angeles Clippers (32-32) and Phoenix Suns (38-27). If the playoffs began Wednesday, they would face the Portland Trail Blazers (31-35) in the first play-in game.
