While changes are happening in the Eastern Conference, the Miami Heat remain unchanged after the 2026 NBA trade deadline.

On Thursday, the trade deadline saw a flurry of activity, but Bleacher Report highlighted that Miami did not make any trades — an interesting choice for a team facing challenges.

The Heat entered the day with a record of 27-25, sitting seventh in the conference, three games behind the No. 6 seed Toronto Raptors (30-22), yet only 3.5 games ahead of the Charlotte Hornets (23-28, 11th in the Eastern Conference).
