Carlo Ancelotti is now the Real Madrid coach with the most titles after leading El Real to win the 2024/2025 European Super Cup.
The coach nicknamed Don Carlo has now equaled the trophy collection of legendary Real Madrid coach, Miguel Munoz who has presented a total of 14 trophies.
“I am very happy. It is an honor and a privilege to coach this team and we did it well today,” said Carlo Ancelotti as reported by the club’s website, Thursday.
Ancelotti led Real Madrid as the most successful team in the European Super Cup with a record of six titles after defeating Atalanta, 2-0 in the 2024/2025 European Super Cup at the National Stadium Warsaw on Thursday morning IST.

The Italian coach has won three Champions League titles, two Club World Cups, three European Super Cups, two LaLiga titles, two Copa del Rey and two Spanish Super Cups.
The former AC Milan coach is now also chasing the record held by Miguel Munoz as the coach with the most matches leading Los Blancos. Miguel Munoz in 14 consecutive years as El Real coach has been a tactician for a total of 605 matches where he won 2 European Cups, 1 Intercontinental Cup, 9 Spanish Leagues and 2 Spanish Cups.

In the future, Ancelotti hopes to be able to find a balance between the lines in the squad to be prepared for the 2024/2025 season which will start soon.
“The most difficult thing is to find a good balance with the quality we have up front. We hope to have a good season, we have a fantastic squad and we will find that balance,” said the former Chelsea coach.
