    140: Cristiano Ronaldo (POR, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus)- Cristiano Ronaldo is without question one of the greatest footballers of all time. He scored goals galore for Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus in the Champions League. He is the highest goalscorer in the history of the Champions League and will remain at the top for a good time as nobody looks near to this feat.

    129: Lionel Messi (ARG, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain)- Lionel Messi has a great goal scoring record for Barcelona and Paris-Saint Germain as the Argentinian is second on the list of the highest goal scorers in the history of the competition. Known for his great dribbling, the maestro was a nightmare for defenders.

    103: Robert Lewandowski (POL, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern München, Barcelona)- Still going strong, Lewandowski is 3rd on the list and the highest who is still adding in his tally as he is playing in the Champions League with Barcelona and has looked threatening in every match. 

    90: Karim Benzema (FRA, Lyon, Real Madrid)- The striker ranks 4th on the all-time list and had a 2022-23 campaign that will be remembered by football generations to come. He is considered to be very pivotal to Real Madrid’s success in the Champions League.

    71: Raúl González (ESP, Real Madrid, Schalke)- Raul is considered among one of the greatest strikers ever to play for Real Madrid and has a monumental record in the Champions League. Raul Gonzalez Blanco, the loyal scoring legend, will forever be remembered not only for his goals but for the indelible mark he left on the beautiful game.  

    56: Thomas Müller (GER, Bayern München)- The German started his career as a prolific goalscorer but eventually turned into a no.10 or a supporting striker to accommodate other players. True example of loyalty and perseverance, he dons the Bayern Munich shirt again this season, looking to advance to the semis. 

    56: Ruud van Nistelrooy (NED, PSV Eindhoven, Manchester United, Real Madrid)- Widely regarded as one of the best strikers of his generation, Van Nistelrooy has been the top scorer in three UEFA Champions League seasons, and is the sixth-highest goalscorer in the competition’s history with 56 goals.

    55: Kylian Mbappé (FRA, Monaco, Paris, Real Madrid)- The French international is back to his scoring feet but on a new turf now. It will be pivotal for him to get back to his form if he wants to break the all time scoring record as he has the time and quality to do so.

    50: Thierry Henry (FRA, Monaco, Arsenal, Barcelona)- He is considered one of the greatest strikers of all time, and one of the greatest players in Premier League history. He has been named as Arsenal’s greatest ever player. 

    49: Erling Haaland (NOR, Salzburg, Dortmund, Manchester City)-  Haaland is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Manchester City and the Norway national team. Considered one of the best players in the world, he is known for his speed, strength, positioning, and finishing inside the box.
