Manchester United Delays Ederson Transfer Finalization

Fabrizio Romano explains why Manchester United have yet to finalise the transfer of Atalanta midfielder Ederson.

The Premier League giants have been linked with a plethora of midfielders in recent months. But so far, INEOS have only launched a serious onslaught beyond enquiries and informal negotiations for the Brazilian, with various sources agreeing that the Ederson deal is close.

However, several days have passed, and United haven’t made any progress on this particular front.

Why Man United have yet to close Ederson deal

In his latest appearance on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano explained the two reasons behind the delay on the Ederson front.

The Italian journalist insists that the talks between Man Utd and the 26-year-old’s entourage are at an advanced stage ‘for sure’, and that the club-to-club negotiations are also ongoing.

However, the transfer market expert reveals that MUFC are still internally discussing whether they should proceed or not, as the final green light has yet to arrive.
