Champions League match saw Monaco draw against Manchester City, denying them a second consecutive victory. The match on Wednesday night at Stade Louis II ended in a 2-2 tie. Erling Haaland scored twice in the first half, giving City the lead, but a penalty goal from Eric Dier in the 90th minute allowed Monaco to secure their first point in the tournament.

City took the lead in the 15th minute when Haaland received a high ball from Josko Gvardiol, getting past Philippe Kohler. Monaco pressed back and equalized three minutes later with a stunning shot from Jordan Tesse. However, before the end of the first half, City regained the lead as Haaland headed in a cross from Nico Orelli, taking his tally to 52 goals in just 50 Champions League matches.

Although City maintained control, Monaco refused to back down. With just moments to go, Spanish referee Jesús Gil Manzano awarded a penalty after Nico González’s dangerous challenge on Dier, aided by VAR. Dier calmly converted the penalty, sending the ball past Gianluigi Donnarumma and securing a crucial point for the French team.
