Malappuram: As part of Vision 2031, the state’s sports department is organizing a state-level seminar on November 2 and 3 in Malappuram. A face-to-face meeting was held at the Malappuram Collectorate Conference Hall, attended by sports associations, athletes, media representatives, and various department heads.
The event was inaugurated by the Minister of Sports, V. Abdurahiman. Malappuram District Collector V.R. Vinod presided over the meeting, while the President of the State Sports Council, U. Sharafali, explained the initiative.
Also present were ADM N.M. Meh terrestrial, former District Police Chief U. Abdul Kareem, District Sports Council President P. Hrishikesh Kumar, Vice President M. Narayanan, State Sports Council Standing Committee member A. Sreekumar, District Medical Officer Dr. M. Renuka, M.S.P. Assistant Commandant P. Habibur Rahman, Malappuram Press Club Secretary V.P. Nisar, and District Youth Coordinator of the State Youth Welfare Board Shyam Prasad, along with Sports Council Secretary V.R. Arjun, who all contributed to the discussions.
