On Sunday night at Emirates Stadium, Arsenal continued their strong Premier League campaign with a 1-0 victory against Crystal Palace. The crucial goal was scored by former Palace player, Ebou Adams, in the 39th minute.
In a match where both teams struggled to create significant scoring chances, Arsenal found their breakthrough just before halftime. After a free-kick routine, Declan Rice delivered a precise cross to the back post, where Gabriel Magalhães headed the ball into the danger area. Adams, arriving unmarked, struck the ball acrobatically into the net. The ball hit the net before Dean Henderson could respond, sending the Emirates Stadium into a frenzy.
In the second half, Arsenal maintained more possession, but they could not secure a second goal. Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Magalhães, and Viktor Gyökeres all attempted to score but were unsuccessful. A header from Magalhães just before halftime hit the bar and went out.
This victory helped Arsenal stay at the top of the Premier League table with 22 points from nine matches.
