Let’s look at the chances of Kannur Warriors advancing to the semifinals of the Super League in Kerala.
On December 2, Kannur Warriors FC will play against Thrissur Magic FC at the Thrissur Corporation Stadium. For Kannur to have a shot at the semifinals, they must win this match. If they win, they will move to third place with 13 points from three wins, four draws, and three losses across ten matches.
If the match ends in a draw, Kannur will be eliminated from the semifinals. Their chances also depend on two other matches: one between Thiruvananthapuram Combats FC and Calicut FC on December 3, and another between Malappuram FC and Force Kochi FC on December 4.
If both Thiruvananthapuram and Malappuram lose, Kannur can reach the semifinals. They can also qualify if one team wins while the other loses. Even if the Malappuram vs. Force Kochi match ends in a draw, Kannur can still make it to the semifinals. However, if Malappuram wins and the Thiruvananthapuram vs. Calicut match ends in a draw, Kannur will be out based on goal difference.
