Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola expressed concern about whether their key midfielder Rodri will return to play soon. The Spanish international has been struggling with injuries, having missed most matches last season due to a knee issue.
Recently, Rodri missed more time due to hamstring issues. He has only played one minute in City’s last ten matches. It is confirmed that Rodri will not play in the upcoming Premier League match against Fulham, and his availability for the home game against Sunderland is also uncertain.
Guardiola mentioned at a press conference that Rodri “is not ready yet,” and it is uncertain when he will be back on the field.
