Italian footballer Mario Balotelli has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with UAE First Division club Al Ittihad. The 35-year-old joined the club after discussions held in Dubai. This signing aims to save Al Ittihad, currently at the bottom of the points table, from relegation threats. Balotelli was a free agent after his contract with Italian club Genoa ended last July, where he made appearances as a substitute in six matches.
