As the new season of the Indian Super League (ISL) approaches in just two weeks, East Bengal FC has signed rising star Jerry Mawihmingthanga from Odisha FC. The 28-year-old from Mizoram has joined the club on a short-term contract that extends until the end of the 2025-26 season. This move aims to strengthen East Bengal’s attacking lineup ahead of the ISL, which kicks off on February 14.
Jerry, who developed his skills at the DSK Shivajians Academy, has a strong track record in the ISL. He started his career in 2016 with NorthEast United FC and has since established himself as a key player.
