LeBron James is approaching unrestricted free agency after the 2025-26 season, and chatter about his next move is increasing. If he continues his career, many are curious about where he will play next.

The idea of him returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers has been mentioned frequently. ESPN’s Kendrick Perkins recently discussed this possibility on “The Road Trippin’ Show” podcast.

Perkins mentioned that Donovan Mitchell and James Harden are already trying to persuade James to join them in Cleveland.

“My sources tell me that Donovan Mitchell and James Harden are working to recruit LeBron James this offseason. As soon as Harden joined the team, the message was clear: ‘We want LeBron James,’” Perkins stated.
