Cole Palmer has made a strong impact at Chelsea since joining from Manchester City in 2023.
During his time at the club, he has played 114 matches and scored 51 goals, contributing to Chelsea’s efforts for improvement.
This season alone, Palmer has participated in 23 games across all competitions, finding the net 11 times and providing four assists.
In the Premier League, his attacking contributions were highlighted in a recent match against Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he scored a hat-trick in the first half within just 38 minutes.
These impressive performances have led to speculation linking him to Manchester United, especially as he frequently visits his hometown of Wythenshawe, raising possibilities for a transfer.
However, Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior responded to these rumors, stating that there is “nothing in it” regarding the media’s suggestions.
Cole Palmer also addressed the rumors about a potential move to Old Trafford.
In an interview with the BBC on their Match of the Day program, Palmer remarked: “Everyone loves to chat rubbish, don’t they? I don’t pay too much attention to it.”
He added, “You see things. But I feel like I’ve come from a strong place anyway so I don’t pay attention to it.”
The England international shared his positive experience at Chelsea under Liam Rosenior, stating: “Life under Liam [Rosenior] is amazing, he gives us all confidence.”
He continued, “He lets us be ourselves, play free. I’m sure when I’m back proper fit, you’ll see the best of me.”
With Palmer now clearly denying any links to Manchester United, a transfer to the club seems unlikely.
