Moyes expressed disappointment with Dibling during Ndiaye’s absence at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Since Ndiaye’s return, Dibling has been back on the bench.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Moyes shared his thoughts on Dibling’s early days at the club.

“I would be thinking that I need to step up and show the manager my true potential,” he said.

“Competing at a high level in football is tough, and you have to adjust. The good thing for Tyler is that he is young.”

“He is somewhat reserved, which may slow his adjustment, but he needs to take advantage of his chances.”

“I’ve noticed some hints of frustration, which is positive. We want him to be more direct and take on defenders.”

“He must become the player we expected, helping with assists and scoring goals.”

Everton are starting to lose patience with Tyler Dibling

It’s evident that Dibling hasn’t met expectations since joining the club.

Finding the right balance is crucial, especially as he is still young with time to improve. However, concerns are growing about his performance relative to his salary.

Moyes has favored Dwight McNeil over Dibling, and with recent comments, this trend may continue.

McNeil didn’t transfer to Crystal Palace as anticipated on deadline day, but Moyes seems to trust him more right now.

The onus is now on Dibling to prove himself and demonstrate why Everton was eager to sign him.
