Bayern Munich appears to be reducing its interest in Yan Diomande due to the €100m asking price.

Liverpool has shown interest in Diomande for some time, and the midfielder has expressed his wish to play at Anfield in the future.

However, several clubs are also competing for him. The player, who can play as a central midfielder or a right-winger, is currently valued at about £87m. Manchester City and Real Madrid are reportedly keeping an eye on him.

Christian Falk mentioned that Bayern isn’t in a position to justify the high price, particularly with Luis Diaz in their lineup. On his YouTube channel, he stated, “It’s true that he [Diomande] will cost a lot of money.”

“The €100m price was set by Oliver Mintzlaff. We saw him at Bayern Munich playing in the cup for Leipzig, and he’s very talented, but he still needs to develop. €100m would be too much for this summer.”

“That price is something Premier League clubs can handle, like City, Liverpool, and United. They can afford him, but Bayern can’t at this moment because Luis Diaz is their primary left winger. Bayern Munich needs a supporting player, not a top-tier one, and €100m for a secondary role is excessive for them.”
